Questions
Do I need to download and import an .ics file?
No. Kalender gives you a link you subscribe to once. Unlike a one-off .ics import, new and changed events reach your calendar on their own.
How quickly do changes show up?
Calendar apps check subscribed calendars on their own schedule, usually every few hours.
Can I edit the events in Google Calendar?
A subscribed calendar is read-only. Edit events in Kalender and the change reaches every calendar.
Will I see the events on my phone?
Yes. Once you’ve subscribed in Google Calendar, Outlook or Apple Calendar, the events show up in that calendar’s phone app too.
